The Impact of Budget and Service Reductions
The Council will have to make some tough decisions as part of its 2012/13 budget setting process and you are urged to share your thoughts with us in on the specific proposals in order to shape and improve the services of the Authority going forward.
We have designed a survey to inform our decision making process and to help us understand the potential impact any reduction to the services currently provided by the Council could have on you.
This survey covers the areas of:
- Making the Council More Efficient
- Environmental Regulation and Enforcement
- Grass Cutting and Gardening (Including Cemeteries)
- Road and Footpath Repairs
- Adult Social Care
- Services for Children and Young People
- MiCard
You will be able chose to complete any or all sections that you may be interested in, but we ask that you complete the last section, which will help us understand any affects that may impact on different groups in the borough and particularly where you live.
The survey should only take about 5 minutes to complete and you can be assured that any responses will be treated in the strictest confidence.
All these views will be considered at a special budget meeting of Full Council to be held on 23 February 2012 and we will feedback the results of this Consultation to you in early March 2012.
